The 48th National Pharmaceutical Machinery Exposition is scheduled to be held at Chongqing International Expo Center from November 7 to November 10, 2014. Hosted by the China Pharmaceutical Equipment Industry Association, the event is undertaken by Beijing Jingboxin Exhibition Co., Ltd.

First launched in 1991, the exposition has witnessed steady development and growth over 23 years of continuous efforts. The association serves as a critical bridge and link between government authorities and enterprises. To strengthen industrial management and coordination, it has established permanent functional departments, including the Member Management Department, Statistics Department, Exhibition Department, Network Information Department and International Business Department.

In addition, the association undertakes the daily operations of multiple specialized institutions, namely the National Technical Committee for Standardization of Pharmaceutical Equipment, the Self-Regulation Committee of China Pharmaceutical Equipment Industry Association, and the Expert Secretariat of the Pharmaceutical Industry Association. It also formulates and revises relevant industrial regulations and development plans. Since its establishment, the association has assisted government authorities in drafting industrial development plans for a total of 415 times. It actively cooperates with the government, reflects the development status of the industry and enterprises, puts forward targeted suggestions, and supports government institutional reforms.

From 2007 to 2014, the association organized more than 20 overseas exhibitions covering countries including India, Russia, the United States, Germany, the United Kingdom, Brazil and Vietnam. These overseas events involved over 20 delegations and covered an exhibition area exceeding 120,000 square meters. Meanwhile, exhibitors and purchasers from more than 30 countries such as the United States, the United Kingdom and South Korea have attended the domestic exposition for exhibition and procurement.
