At 7:50 on September 27, 2022, the Long March 6 carrier rocket ignited and lifted off from the Taiyuan Satellite Launch Center. It then sent the Shiyan-16A, Shiyan-16B and Shiyan-17 satellites into predetermined orbit via a one-rocket, three-satellites launch, achieving complete success for the mission.

    First launched on September 20, 2015, the Long March 6 carrier rocket is a pioneering model in China's new-generation carrier rocket family. To date, it has successfully completed 10 launch missions, 9 of which adopted the one-rocket multi-satellite launch mode.
